Commercial Description:
Liquid Swords is our annual Grand Cru. The 2019 cuve incorporates dark and blonde mixed-fermentation farmhouse ales aged in French and American oak barrels. For this vintage, we selected an array of red wine and bourbon barrel-aged beers which showcased varying levels of color, tannins, age, and acidity to develop a complex blend which was further naturally conditioned and aged in the bottle. Russet red in color with notes of leather, toffee, lemon peel, and pepper with a bright acidity and a dry finish.
