Canned Vacation is our little tribute to all those vacations that got the can this past monthbut its also its own vacation in a cana trip to Austria and Italy while staying a home.
While this style originated in Vienna, Austria were giving it a bit of an contemporary Italian flair, taking a cue from Italian-Style Pilsner which is a burgeoning subcategory of pilsner inspired by Birrificio Italianos Tipo Pilsrelying on heavy late hop additions of noble and noble-esque hops.
Canned Vacation is packed with hop character. Loads of Tettnang shine through with a floral nose, and slightly spicy, fruity flavors. Saphir and Cashmere pop with notes of noble citrus and matcha green tea. Vienna malt provides a bready base for the hops to play on, and a golden hue.
